McDonald's sets the highest possible standards for food safety and quality. We are now looking for a Nordic Quality Assurance Lead and Project Manager (“QA Lead”) whose task is to develop and ensure quality and food safety within McDonald's restaurants across the four Nordic markets (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden). The role is placed within our Restaurant Solutions Group with reporting to the Nordic Quality Assurance Manager.
We wish you to have:
The QA Lead ensures all markets have the necessary tools and knowledge for the restaurants to safely serve high quality food. This involves implementing global McDonald's standards and developing Nordic food safety and quality standards. The QA Lead coordinates our team of food safety and quality experts and supports the markets in all matters concerning restaurant food safety and quality. The QA Lead also manages projects impacting food safety and/or quality and participates as a food safety and quality expert in projects led by other functions and departments.
The work is independent but there is close and continuous contact with the team of QA experts, external partners, and members of other functions, such as Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, IT, and Equipment, on both Nordic and local levels.
You should have relevant training in food sciences, knowledge of microbiology, and experience with HACCP-based food safety programs. You may have worked in a similar QA role or as a food safety authority for at least a few years. We would prefer you to have knowledge of food production, food legislation, sampling, nutrition as well as chemicals and cleaning programs. It is considered advantageous if you have previous experience from the McDonald’s system.
As the tasks require cooperation and coordination with other functions across several countries, both internal and external, you should be responsive, have good communication skills, and enjoy working in close collaboration with others. It is important that you can convey your knowledge in a clear and easy-to-understand manner and are good at stakeholder management.

passionate about food safety and quality
self-motivated, analytical, structured and proactive
experienced in project management
able to travel
adept at using MS Office programs
fluent in English (spoken and written)
based in one of the following countries: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden
