You will be responsible for the proposal development/contract management in the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process within scope and will be responsible for pulling all necessary resources and information in order to submit a successful proposal. You will be part of a North Europe team and you can be based in any of our offices in Norrköping, Västerås, Växjö or Stockholm.
Essential Responsibilities :
Bid Manager of the ITO process. Co-ordinating all functions needed in order to assemble a bid.
Development of bid strategy with Sales to achieve successful approach to the market.
Ensuring terms and conditions are properly reviewed, mitigated and associated risk check lists are completed and approved for all proposals.
Management of specification compliance, scope development and risk identification and mitigation.
Owner of Financial Summaries for each opportunity – price/cost summary, contribution margins, cash-flow and tax compliance.
Presenting deals for approval and driving the process.
Supporting sales in front of customer.
Ensuring clean hand off to operations team.
Qualifications/Requirements :
University or college, preferably in a Business or Engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge or experience
Sales/commercial experience in the power generation industry including proposal development
Fluent in written & spoken Swedish & English. Knowledge of another Nordic language is a plus.
Desired Characteristics :
Technical competency in Generator Technology
Good working knowledge of commercial processes, pulling resources together to collect bid information, creating bid/proposal documents from scratch
Ability to interface and communicate with customers to introduce and negotiate opportunity to closure
Ability to structure creative deals to support customers, negotiate contracts, and deal effectively with diverse customers
Ability to travel if needed
