As an Environmental and Quality Specialist you will be the company expert responsible for controlling, coordinating and initiating activities in regard to data security (the Privacy Act) and quality and environmental processes within the Nordic countries. Health & Safety and Automotive Compliance is also a part of this position. You are required to keep yourself updated with local laws and regulations as you are the controlling function ensuring that all departments follow compliance programs and action plans. You will be working closely together with management in all Nordic departments, cooperating with our Europe Region Legal department, the Europe Region Data Security department as well as with external authorities. The job also includes collaboration with UPS Technical Support Group, Human Resources and Finance & Accounting. Qualifications: *[Analytical, project management and administrative skills *[Basic understanding of legal systems with the ability to read and understand legal requirements *[Good computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite *[Fluent in English and Swedish (written and oral) *[A university degree within Social Studies, Political Science, IT/IS or similar is advantageous *[Experience within management systems, legal issues, data security or environmental self monitoring are also to your advantage.
