Norrdans produces contemporary dance and choreography for adults, children and youth. We are based in Härnösand and tour extensively in the four northernmost counties, nationally and internationally.

We are now hiring a Technical Coordinator.
Job description
The position as Technical Coordinator entails an overall responsibility of technical work at Norrdans. You will also be responsible for facilities and technique development issues.
Together with the artistic director and producer, you are working for the long-term planning and distribution of resources based on Norrdans production and operations. You supervise and plan working hours for technical staff, both when we are at home and on tour.
You are responsible for competence development of the technical staff. You are also responsible for the recruitment and procurement of external technical expertise.

As a Technical Coordinator, it is important that you are responsive, solution-oriented and flexible while having the ability to guide and prioritize when needed. You can build good relationships and participate in different networks as the work means being in contact with many people. As a person, you are communicative, structured and committed. It is important that you are good at team work.
You have an education in stage technique, or other acquired experience that can be considered equivalent.
You have documented work experience of technical stage work. You have experience and knowledge of new technologies in the stage, sound and lighting.
We assume that you have previous experience from touring performing arts.
Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. You have documented experience of work management and scheduling. The working language with the ensemble is English, so it is important that you can express yourself in speech and writing in English.
Swedish B driving license or equivalent is a requirement. Swedish C driver's license or equivalent is a merit.
