Nasdaq Technology is looking for a software engineer with a deployment and operations focus. Real Time Clearing helps clearing houses to meet the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with integrated position keeping, real-time risk and collateral management, as well as settlement across markets. The opportunity to work within a highly skilled and experienced product engineering team. We are a cross-functional enabling team consisting of software architects, software engineers, and QA engineers. Your main focus is deployment and operational aspects of a product with very high quality, performance, and resiliency demands. What you will be doing:


Become the product teams expert in how the product is configured and operated and its future operability needs


Develop and configure tools and scripts to deploy and operate the product both on prem and in cloud


Sizing and configuration of hardware infrastructure to meet performance, security, and availability needs


Configure and maintain test environments


Participate in QA activities related to deployment, operation, performance, and high availability


Product packaging


Collaborate and coordinate with operations, platform and delivery teams


Requirements, documentation, demos and trainings


What you will bring to the team:


Passion for building great products from a deployment and operations perspective


Curiosity and a highly collaborative and communicative work style along with a desire to share knowledge


Several years of experience from the intersection between development and operations


Excellent working proficiency in English


A degree in computer science, information technology or software engineering or equivalent.


It would be nice if you have:


Linux, Bash scripting, and Gradle experience


Java, Jenkins, and Git experience


Cloud (AWS) experience
