Nursing Assistant/Nurse Trainee

Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant, acts under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The Nursing Assistant assists the nurse in providing patient care in accordance with company policies and procedures and assist patients with activities of their daily life to enhance general comfort, wellbeing and safety. The Nursing Assistant also participates in the observation of patient conditions and promptly reports changes to the primary nurse as well as document patient care or unit tasks in electronic medical records as per our policy. Other responsibilities include responding promptly to the needs of the patient as well as communicate patient/family requests or any concerns appropriately and immediately. The Nursing Assistant also needs to demonstrate competency care procedures (foley catheter, enemas, vital signs, etc.).

Qualifications

1 - 2 year experience as a Nursing Assistant or as a Nurse is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

24 months full-time contract.
