Who we are
As the new standalone engine developing company our aim is to be the world’s leading company of powertrain development among all OEMs and the supplier of choice for our customers. The Analyze and Verification department within R&D consists of 70 skilled engineers working in the fields of CAE and testing. Our mission is to support the development of the next generation of powertrains and verify that they fulfill the demands of mechanical function, durability, radiated noise and customers expectations. We are engaged in all development phases from research to industrialization.
The group Mechanical Testing and Verification has the responsibility of testing and verifying the function of all mechanical parts in the engine. This is done in test cells, both inhouse and at external suppliers, in vehicles that are run in wind tunnels, cooling chambers and on expeditions in both hot and cold conditions. The results are to be demonstrated to the section and the design departments.
