Regulatory and Technical Relations Manager as a starting manager in Procter & Gamble's External Relations function in Stockholm. The external world and the communities in which we work matter to P&G. As a member of the External Relations function you will be the technical expert who ensures our products fulfill all requirements on (environmental) safety, and also are seen as such by the stakeholders and the public. You may represent the Company and its brands outside, while making sure you provide management with an external perspective. This involves working with a broad spectrum of external stakeholders ranging from Governmental bodies and thought leader professionals to educators and consumer associations. It also involves working with all the other business functions in P&G to understand business opportunities and ensure compliance of P&G activities with the demands of the external world. Important starting responsibilities of Job: Contributes as starting External Relations expert to the support of the P&G business in the four Nordic countries, and specifically to the development and execution of new product launches. He/She understands the product's technologies, their regulatory and environmental aspects, manages the regulatory compliance in the Nordic region.[ Key responsibilities are 1. Be the product expert and do the (science) communication on our brands. Projects may vary from regulatory compliance programs to development and execution of communication programs to external stakeholders. 2. Further build our external relations network with key external influencers. Make influencer insights available for development of effective product support programs. Management of long-term stakeholder relationships. 3. Develop to do Nordic corporate communication on sustainability and environment. Adapt corporate materials and develop where needed local materials. 4. Contribute to the local External Relations team in further building functional capabilities; innovate in Nordic communication methods, identifying external communication opportunities, etc. What do we look for An expert with a technical (natural sciences or chemical engineering) educational background and who has a talent for communication with clear interest in business, public policy and environment.[ The ideal candidate is able to fully understand product technology to explain them to laymen's public and to work with external stakeholders.[[ A person just graduated from university or with up to max 2 years professional experience.[ Additional Job Qualifications: .[Analytical skills and business understanding to be able to quickly analyze an external situation and plan and take appropriate action. .[Project management skills. Being able to manage projects effectively across functional lines in the Nordic organization and with Global Business Units. . .[Independence and confidence; being flexible and assertive, recognize and use external opportunities.
