Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The group Acoustics, complete vehicle at Scania is involved in developing the trucks of the future regarding sound, both externally and internally in the cab. We are now looking for an object leader in acoustics complete vehicle!
We are responsible for the vehicle's acoustic properties and support design groups and development projects, with testing and analyses from measurements. The acoustics on complete vehicles must have the prerequisites to meet legal requirements, which we verify, as well as that the cab's sound environment meets Scania's high standards.

Your role
The work as an object leader involves, in close cooperation with the test engineers in the group, planning functional and certification tests in projects related to acoustics. To succeed, you follow the development of projects through project meetings and other forums. You are the link between the project and the group. An important part of the task is to look ahead through long-term planning and even out peaks in the workload.
Your profile
You are a university or civil engineer with a technical interest and a few years of experience from Scania or equivalent. Previous experience from coordination is a strong merit. As an object leader for this group, you should be able to switch seamlessly between details and a holistic perspective. You will have contact with different departments and people why you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English. You like to see the big picture and work cross-functionally throughout R&D. In the role, it is important to be able to drive the work forward together with us in an independent and structured way. You are flexible and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel. Improvement work, both within our own group and cross-functionally, is an important part of daily work.
