This ambition requires an R&D organization that can develop, maintain and further develop the aimed product portfolio. Both the product and the R&D organization are now in the start-up phase. The speed and the quality of our strategy execution will be the most important differentiator in the coming years ahead. For that reason, we are now looking for an Object Leader for the axles and suspension development function within the R&D organization.

Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you have experience in product development, ideally within automotive project management. You love to plan and be flexible and transparent in everything you do in the team. We challenge and push ourselves to the limit of technical challenges and understanding to achieve great results together.

Your responsibilities


• All types of classic project management activities. 
• Coordination of core team activities within the different components and/ or sub-systems on rear axles, front axles, and suspension components for heavy-duty trucks.
• Management of deviations analysis and reporting of mitigation plans
• Coordination of all sprint reviews and PI planning of the TRS area
• Coordinate and lead the Chinese TRS office's work in project management activities.
• Make sure collaboration within the team works well.
• Create a good team spirit by making all contribute with good communication.
• Work in a friendly and effective team to deliver customer value for our customers in China.

Your profile
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering with proven experience in Project management. 

You must have:


• Proven experience working as a project leader for Scania projects or as coordinator of development activities (experience on PPAP process is well appreciated)
• Entrepreneur mindset, with a positive attitude and a natural team-building mindset.
• Professional relationship-building approach and find it easy to work with other people, especially with people from different cultures (Chinese, Brazilians, Germans, and different nationalities)
• Have an incredible drive, are self-motivated, and like to take responsibility.
• Enjoy learning new things and have an excellent ability to absorb new information. 
• Good holistic overview capabilities.

You should be fluent in English. Fluency in Chinese, Swedish, or German is considered an advantage. Relevant experience in China is an advantage.
