We at Scania within People Transport Solutions are now searching for a new colleague for our group KNRHS, responsible for “Steering and Suspension” in buses and coaches. Our area of development is highly property driven with a requirement for high technical know-how.
If you are the right person for the job you will be a part of a cross-functional team driving the bus steering and suspension into the future for upcoming bus generations. This will put a high demand on your curiosity to develop both yourself and our team, for Scania to be the best choice for the future. Working as an object manager and scrum master within steering and suspension will give you a broad understanding of vehicle dynamics and a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills. You will work closely with other teams responsible for vehicle testing, strength calculations, and dynamic simulations to secure the whole vehicle’s dynamic properties, but also take a big responsibility to secure the group/team deliveries into different projects.

This position puts high demands on your leadership skills, general project management, independent work, great visual planning skills with a high work pace, and an eye for details. This will all be made with the support of a great cross-functional team.
You lead and motivate the participants in your object to achieve object targets. You will be responsible to lead various object activities, such as running object meetings, reporting object status to the projects, preparing for different milestones, performing risk analysis, scrum meetings as daily stand-ups etc. You are expected to keep track of the object time plan and deliveries. You will also be working with continuous improvements for the team with the designers and the section together with other object leaders / scrum masters.

You are a driven person with a university degree preferably in mechanical engineering, experience in product development as a previous designer is an advantage. It is also an advantage having previous knowledge on how to work according to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and having previous understanding of the Scania PD process. As we work closely with our colleagues, customers, and suppliers all over the world, you need to master English well, both in writing and orally. It comes naturally for you to communicate with people from different cultures and environments. You have an interest in leadership and people and are independent and structured with the ability to work communicatively and cross functionally in a positive way both within and outside your object. You are pragmatic and you find the best way forward in co-operation with others. You are flexible and solution-oriented and like to take on challenges & responsibilities.
