Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The team Brake performance is responsible for brake- and performance testing on trucks and drives the development of the entire brake system. We evaluate both hardware and software through testing in a rig environment and on complete vehicles. The teams consist of both engineers and mechanics. The team members have deep knowledge and experience. We are responsible for brake performance and performance of the air system at Scania as a whole. We are also responsible for fulfilling the latest legislation and certification needs within braking.
Your role
The work as an object manager makes ju the link between the project and our team. It is a higly crossfunctional role in a crossfunctional group wihch will give you a broad area of contacts and competence.
You are the speaking person for our group in the projects and we also whant you to be involved in the planning within the group and how to continue our jurney in way of working.
Your profile
We are looking for someone that wants to learn and be a part of the group thats develop one of the most complex systems on our trucks and buses. You are engaged and committed to your work. You take your own initiative and use your curiosity and logical thinking to navigate through different problems. By others, you are described as a structured, communicative, and flexible. You are humble and execute your work without prestige.
As an object leader you need to se the big picture and be able to also understand the efftect of the details. As you have an role that includes a lot om coumnnication you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English.
You are a university or civil engineer with a technical interest and a few years of experience from Scania is meritated. Previous experience from coordination is a strong merit.
