Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

If you want to be part of something completely unique, to lead the development of the engine's most important parts in a completely new engine platform, you should apply for this position!

NMBC is responsible for the large casted parts that make up the backbone of the engine as engine blocks and cylinder heads that are produced in-house in our new foundry and machining line as well as complex large die-cast parts such as flywheel housing, camshaft frame, ladder frame, and valve cover. We are also responsible for the tightness of the entire engine.

The new engine platform will be installed in several truck brands on the global market.

Tasks

We are now looking for a driven object manager who wants to move forward towards greater challenges by, together with the group's employees and cross-functions, leading, planning, communicating, and securing the group's deliveries towards set goals.

The complexity and long lead times mean that we must constantly challenge and develop the project planning and be at the forefront to ensure deliveries.

You will have a large network of contacts with project management, purchasing, production, marketing, and other development groups that the group has interfaces with. You will also be part of a team of designers, test engineers, and specialists with extensive experience who design and test complex castings in iron and aluminum as well as plastic parts.

More specifically, the role means that you will:


• Create/own object definition and follow up on the object's goals
• Create, maintain and pace object schedules that accommodate the object's stakeholders
• Beat and respond to milestones and clearly communicate the object's status against these
• Gather the object and ensure that information reaches both in and out (including purchasing, aftermarket, production

Requirements profile and experience

You have an interest in leadership and people, and are independent and structured with the ability to work in a positive way communicatively and cross-functionally both within and outside your object. Working with continuous improvements and according to Scania's product development processes is something natural and is seen as part of the daily work.
