What we are looking for?
We are now looking for a new IT engineer, who works in the Outbound Logistics Operations - Business Intelligence team and who wants to work in an international and fast developing area as a connection point between the global distribution organizations and our IT departments.

What you’ll do
In this position, you will project lead on implementation level for OBL projects and have an expert role within the OBL IT systems . You will get to develop OBL IT systems towards the global operational needs and implement new routes and transport methods within the systems.
You will make sure that we maintain the OBL IT systems, routings on a global level and assure functional understanding of the applications and linked business needs.

You will also initiate, plan, prioritize and coordinate activities within the OBL and define and maintain Processes and standard operating procedures, in line with the overall strategy for Outbound Logistics. 

Furhtermore, you will provide direction, development and leadership to the project teams and  contribute to finding the best solutions from a global perspective in cooperation with our regional teams.

We are looking for a result-oriented team player with positive mind set, who is self-motivated, engaged and willing to take ownership. You enjoy working in a global team and supportive attitude and good communication is the key. We are looking for a colleague with pro-active approach and who is willing to walk the extra mile to reach our targets and customer expectations.

We believe you have a university degree or experience gained through years of practice. You possess leadership skills and have documented project leadership experience. Broad experience within the Volvo IT systems ( ATACQ, TMS, Ihub, Vista,CIS) and a High level understanding of logistics processes and requirements.

You also have:

•    Operational and flow driven mind set
•    Ability to prioritise in high demanding area
•    Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional and global networks
•    Good communication and cooperative skills
•    Fluent in English (written/spoken), Swedish preferred
