Description
Within Business unit Processing Components & Supply Chain at Tetra Pak Processing Systems we are seeking a new skilled OHS Officer in order to continue ensure we are aligned in how we work with Occupation Health and Safety at the Lund site.
In the role you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Group OHS policies, local guidelines and procedures. In addition you will also act Champion, occupational health and safety, covering the whole Processing Site.
Your task will be to ensure that appropriate systems and procedures are in place for OHS regulatory, corporate compliance and employee wellbeing, including both our production facilities and customer sites.
You will have a broad network internally as well as externally, being a member of the corporate OHS working group, act as Local process driver and coordinating external consultants and accreditation bodies.
Main responsibilities
-Provide OHS advice and guidance to Quality Managers to ensure compliance with Group OHS policy
-Establish, maintain and monitor systems to support the Site compliance with the Group OHS procedures and local legislation
-Ensure that an OHS training program is in place to cover the significant risks on the site and while employees are working at Customer sites
-Auditing safety on the site, register needs and taking necessary measures
-Improving safety awareness of employees and subcontractors through audits
Within the Occupational health area you will follow up of legal framework, propose changes and take corrective actions. Further you will advise relevant stakeholders about legal risks, issues and improvements andliaising with OHS at AB Tetra Pak/Occupational Health Service and other Tetra Pak companies.
Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive OHS professional, motivated to actively collaborate across borders internally as well as externally. You are a natural informal leader, a strong communicator and able to drive, embrace and implement change.
You posses an Environmental, Health and Safety technical degree/diploma and experience in OHS, providing support to multiple sites, specifically including manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
