About the job
As OD Technology Manager, you will develop a comprehensive, strategic roadmap for the forthcoming years. You will identify and capitalise on optimisation prospects, driving the implementation of automation technology and doing what is necessary to enhance profitability. This is a full-time job, and your primary tasks will include:
Lead and collaborate with Operations Development teams and factories to streamline daily operations.
Evaluate current operations, devising strategies to incorporate advanced technology for enhanced manufacturing efficiency.
Develop and execute project plans aligned with Business Unit strategies and manufacturing expansion initiatives.
Align teams with Business Unit strategy, fostering engagement and inclusivity across diverse regional teams.
Monitor and enhance team performance through continuous coaching and skill development.
Travel to various factories as required for operational oversight.
What you know
You will ideally come with a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent; (specialization in automation preferred). You have approximately 15 years of experience in technology project development within the metals manufacturing industry and ideally a background in high-volume production with expertise in automating manufacturing processes.
You display inclusive leadership skills for driving diverse international teams and have strong coordination, project management, communication, and interpersonal abilities in English.
