Office Administrator for an exciting new venture in the mining equipment industry
Company Overview
Comminution Reimagined Sweden AB ("CRS") is a dynamic start-up company developing a breakthrough new technology for the mining industry. The company is based in Gothenburg, Sweden and has an active pilot plant on a mine site in Northern Sweden. The company is growing its global network of industry experts and mining and manufacturing partners.
CRS was formed in 2019 to develop and commercialize a new process and technology for the crushing and milling of rock ores in the mineral processing industry (the technical name for this is comminution). The process dramatically reduces energy use and the overall environmental footprint of mining. CRS is consequently positioned to become an essential enabler in the mining industry's transition to the green economy. The technology has been proven at a laboratory scale and the company is conducting a large pilot test programme at a mining plant in Northern Sweden. Further R&D and design work on the first full-scale demonstration machines is proceeding in parallel, with several potential business cases under evaluation. CRS was awarded a prestigious grant in 2022 to support this scale-up of its work and is poised for significant growth.

d. Manage the office leave/vacation roster (in consultation with the Engineering Team Leader(s)).
e. Assist with team with their travel and accommodation arrangements.
f. Assist in arranging training and skills development programmes.
Qualifications and experience should be appropriate for the above responsibilities and must include several years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

· Have a 'can-do' attitude and an appreciation of the personal growth that is the reward for 'going the extra mile' and taking on challenges outside of your comfort zone.
· Show a high level of initiative and seek out opportunities to assist others and add value beyond their immediate responsibilities.
· Be comfortable with budgets and normal business financial processes.
· Be familiar with Swedish employment practices, norms and shortcomings. Prior roles in high productivity and global work environments would be a bonus.
· Show strong personal values and interpersonal skills.
· Be comfortable operating in a typical 'start-up' environment:
o Be a part of building a new company.
o Be willing to co-develop company systems and processes as we need them.
o Thrive in an informal, flat, team-based structure rather than formal reporting structures.
o Expect and cope with regular problems and scope shifts as the development progresses.
o Work in a diverse, small team spread across the globe, with a diverse but complementary mix of problem-solving styles and approaches.
o Be ready for new challenges and the personal growth that comes with overcoming the impossible!
The candidate must be a resident of Gothenburg and be fluent in Swedish and English. CRS is only able to consider applications from EU citizens or candidates with a work permit enabling employment in Sweden.
Please note that CRS requires a mature individual with AT LEAST 10 YEARS relevant work experience in similar roles.
The responsibilities may suit someone initially looking for a part-time role. There is scope for flexible work hours; however, the role will require regular in-person attendance at the office (at least 2-3 times each week).
