The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a policy institute that generates knowledge and informs decision-making towards a water wise world. SIWI conducts research, builds institutional capacity and provides advisory services in developing countries in areas related to water governance, transboundary water management in perspectives of for example climate change, energy and food and urbanisation. SIWI organises the World Water Week in Stockholm - the leading annual global meeting place on water and development issues - and hosts the Stockholm Water Prize and the Stockholm Junior Water Prize.
Swedish Water House (SWH) is a platform for swedish stakeholder dialouge on global water issues. SWH provides meeting places for innovative thinking on emerging issues, knowledge dissemination and multidisciplinary policy development regarding the global water situation. SWH organizes a range of seminars and workshops on a wide variety of topics in the field of water and development.
SWH is currently looking for an officer to join their team. The positition is initially a one year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of prolongation.
Areas of responsibility include:
. Coordinate, prepare and execute seminars and events in collboration with SWH, SIWI colleagues and external partners.
. Responsible for coordinating, drafting and preparing the annual report submitted to HAV.
. Secretary to IWA Sweden.
. Administrative support to SWH/IP
. Provide support with a variety of tasks at Swedish Water House, as requested by the department Director.
Qualifications and experiences
To be successful in this role we believe that you possess co-operative and organizational skills as well as administrative experience. We expect you to have the capacity to independently carry out projects and the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time. Experience in writing material, reports and summaries are desirable. Demonstraded skills. knowledge and experience of collaboration with companies, organizations and the public sector as well as international experience is higly valued. Preferably, you have an academic degree with a relevant focus in social sciences, economics or natural sciences.

Fluent in english and swedish
