Omni Polymers is searching for a QEHS & Communications Manager for its recycling facility in Ängelholm
Omni Polymers is a newly started, privately owned, polymer company, using innovation and entrepreneurship in its work towards a sustainable future. We are turning plastic packaging waste, never before possible to recycle, into a new high qualitative raw material. We deliver the raw material back into the market used for high-value applications replacing virgin material in the manufacturing industry. This will have a significant positive impact on the environment with great reductions of CO2 emissions.
Our project is in its end of planning phase prior to execution, with machinery installation and test run of the production line starting in early 2022. We are now looking for our QEHS & Communication Manager for our facility in Ängelholm.
QEHS & Communications Manager
The QEHS & Communications Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the company’s Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Management System. The person will be fully responsible for implementing safe systems of work practices and safe behavioral practices at all levels of the organization, as well as the integration of supporting management systems within the production flow in cooperation with the Production Manager.
The position requires the setup of the company’s quality management system using an online software application to build the system from the ground-up. This includes designing and developing all educational documentation for workflow operation for all tasks in both production and administration. Also, the preparation and execution of management tools such as SWAT, risk assessments, employee training programs as well competence increasement programs will be integral to the role.
All procedural documentation for production flow, employee management, safety and environmental practices, administration shall be developed alongside the Production Manager to build a standardized system fit for an industrial facility.
On the communications side, responsibilities include ensuring effective communication on all areas of business with internal as well as external stakeholders. Writing copy for the website, press releases, assisting with the company’s messaging in the marketplace will all be part of a day’s work.
Qualifications
· Experience in management of plastic recycling processes
· Experience from establishing and documenting plastic recycling industrial processes from scratch
· Good knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 standard
· A University Degree in Communication, writing or similar field
