The Central Marketing Technology Team is a talented cross-functional team, marrying high technical skills with extensive understanding of the marketing fundamentals. The team aim to bring future leading-edge marketing and advertising technology to life, by maintaining a central data infrastructure, which enables Volvo Cars to keep customers at heart & the customer data journey at centre. 

The Central MarTech Team is a future center of excellence in the wider global Marketing & Brand organization. The team works in close collaboration with global/regional marketing, analytics & online business teams and across commercial/enterprise business units. 

The challenge we offer
As the omnichannel marketing & automation lead, you will play a critical role in defining, communicate and outline the strategic framework for omnichannel orchestration & marketing automation. You look to unify the multi-device/channel/touchpoint customer experience across Volvo Cars marketing footprint globally.

You will collaborate widely across the business to transform, educate and optimize our ways of working, by establish the methodology & the essentials required for a customer-oriented and seamless marketing/advertising discipline. 

With the intention of connecting the online & offline detach, you recognize the technology and data platforms critical for bridging the gap. You make mature decision making around technology & data usage, while acknowledge the importance of commercial & legal implications of data compliance and consent. 

Further you will align with the regional markets to steer business requirements to drive adoption and deployment of the omnichannel and marketing automation discipline across the organization.

Competence and experience are important, but personality and potential are key
The team is now expanding, and we are looking for a team player with a pragmatic can-do attitude. In this role, it’s your business knowledge, marketing experience & determination that comes to matter. 

You have deep understanding and profound experience in key marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing/Sales Cloud, Google Marketing Platform etc.), CRM & 3:rd party data. A proven track record of media buying/planning among traditional, direct & digital marketing channels, across the full marketing funnel.

Altogether, we are looking for you …who will bring experience and seniority with the omnichannel marketing mix, marketing automation, technology and data compliance. To enable and optimize our capabilities across the business and ultimately Volvo Cars strategic approach to reach customers & prospects in a seamless & unified way.

Qualifications
•    5+ years of experience in omnichannel orchestration & marketing automation.
•    5+ years of experience in marketing/advertising technology, supposedly as CRM lead, direct marketing or digital marketing role.
•    Experience in CRM, data management & warehouse (e.g., Salesforce, GMP, DMPs, CDPs) & lead generation management.
•    Great understanding of Analytics tools & experience in attribution modelling.
•    Ability to diagnose & assess complex data intensive architectures & structures.
•    Deep understanding of web, marketing/advertising and e-commerce systems.
•    Excellent communications, presentation & stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience from working in a Global/Cross-regional organization with international workflows.

You will report to Head of MarTech, Data & Analytics and the position is primarily based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but could be up for discussion. We are a global company and you need to be proficient in English, verbally and written, as well as having an interest and ability to travel.
