On-site Technician to exciting global company

FLIR System AB is looking for an onsite IT-support technician for IT-support in the Stockholm site, located in Arninge. This position will provide quality IT-support for FLIR Systems organization and users, including developers, engineers, production, service, sales and back-office functions.

FLIR was founded in 1978, originally providing infrared imaging systems that were installed on vehicles for use in conducting energy audits. We later expanded our focus to other applications and markets for thermal imaging technology, such as stabilized thermal imaging cameras for law enforcement aircraft, radiometry devices for use in monitoring industrial systems, and thermal imaging systems for use in ground-based security and search and rescue.

We have since grown substantially due to increasing demand for infrared products across a growing number of markets combined with the execution of a series of acquisitions.

About the job

As FLIR systems are a global company, the onsite IT-support technician will provide remote-support to users based in other sites, locations and countries, spread across many time zones. The onsite IT-support technician will be a part of the IT-team in Stockholm, reporting to the Manager IT operations for Europe and Asia. You will be based in Arninge, together with approximately 400 employees.

Tasks will include user support, onsite or remote, ordering and deploying computers as well as service computers, both from hardware and software standpoint. You will be working in a Microsoft corporate enterprise environment with Windows 7 and 10 including Microsoft 365.

You will also be resolving issues by working with various groups within the company, provide documentation, support of smartphones and manage accounts in AD and other various systems.


Other information

We are looking for someone who is excellent at problem-solving, has a curious nature and is service-minded. You need to have a technical drive and always strive to perform. You need 2-3 years' experience to succeed in this role.

You need to be proficient in both English and Swedish, written and oral. Desired skills also include:

* SCCM 2007-2012

* Experience working in Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2 and 2016

* SAP client skills

* Mac and Mac OSX

* Smartphone support

* Linux support

* French, Spanish, or Italy spoken
