Onboard System Adaptation Engineer Senior (m/f)

role in Stockholm (Sweden)

The purpose of this position is to do over all application engineering for the ATP onboard system and to maintain synergies between different specific applications, to technically coordinate between different vehicle types. The Onboard Adaptation Engineer works in the delivery projects for ATP onboard in primarily Region 2. He/she is responsible for the development of the Onboard Specific Application, the fulfillment of the Generic Application requirements and the Vehicle Owners requirements.

YOUR ROLE

Lead Vehicle Engineering work packages

Field surveys and field tests

Support ITC

Contact with personnel in ATP onboard development and delivery projects in RCS global

Contact with suppliers, customers, vehicle owners and national approval bodies

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minmum Bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or computer science

Relevant experience working with embedded systems

Developed communication skills

Open minded, easily adaptable person

Minimum 5 years of experience in rail industry or similar business

English and Swedish business fluent are mandatory for this role

Willing to travel within internal and international
