Oncology Sales Manager and Biosimilar Lead

This is the role
As Sales Manager you will have national responsibility to lead, motivate, and develop the Key Account Manager (KAM) organization in order to maximise the sales and long-term objectives of the Pfizer Oncology portfolio. A key part of the role will be to provide inspirational leadership while focusing on the personal and professional development of the KAMs to assist them in reaching their full potential and deliver on goals. In addition, the Sales Manager will serve as a liaison working closely with the therapeutic area Commercial Strategy Manager (CSM) / brand managers to amplify the aligned therapeutic area strategies. Sales management is approx. 80% of the role.
As Biosimilar Lead you are responsible for defining the strategy for our Biosimilar portfolio and accountable for managing the associated revenues and OPEX. A key part of this role is to plan and manage bids in order to win tenders and collaborate with colleagues in Sweden and the Nordics. The Biosimilar Lead ensures the development/execution/roll-out of the customer strategies and activities across the country developed by the global commercial teams and any customized tactical initiatives developed locally. Leading the Biosimilar business is approx. 20% of the role.
Sales Management
Responsible for reaching national sales targets for all Oncology products through sales team
Ensure development of operational customer plans for each segment with objectives, resources and KPIs
Implement portfolio marketing plans, customer programs and activities through Key Account Managers
Contribute to operating planning and sales forcasting as well as other core business processes as needed
Ongoing monitoring and reporting of:
Success of customer projects, activities and investments based on agreed KPIs
Performance of sales team based on sales targets
Team Leadership
Direct, lead and motivate Key Account Managers: develop a high performing, focused team
Support Key Account Managers in delivering and implementing action plans to drive positive outcomes and continuous improvement
Create annual individual development plans and identify knowledge and skills gaps based on business and career goals together with direct reports
Coach people on an ongoing basis
Performance Management for Key Account Managers in line with the Pfizer performance management system
Analytics and Insights
Lead customer and market understanding, analyses and insight generation and have ability to handle vast amount of data
Collect, analyze and disseminate relevant market information, including competitor analyses, product performance, commercial performance, sales data and customer insights, to support the identification of sales opportunities to maximize business impact
Cooperation and Networking
Develop key internal stakeholder relationships within Oncology, x-functional and within whole Pfizer in order to positive impact the business
Drive effective team-working with various colleagues and teams
Biosimilar Lead
Responsible for portfolio growth and associated revenues by identifying opportunities, managing risks and making timely decisions
Analyse competitive landscape in Sweden and Nordics and develop winning pricing strategy for tendering
Ensure timely bidding process for tenders
Leads to ensure seamless integration of global strategy into country business, acting as partner between country and Cluster liason as well as global teams
Understand opportunities in customer interaction and build and implement solid plan to maximize uptake per brand
Liaises with demand team to manage supply forecast and issues as needed
What we expect
Education:
University education and LIF with IMA / VIMA.
Sales or Marketing education is an advantage.

Experience/Capabilities:
Experienced leader with 3 or more years in leadership role
Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and driving positive results
Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong people management, inspirational, motivational and training skills
Positive “can do attitude” with self motivation, energy and drive
Resilient, open minded, flexible character balancing purpose and results
Preferable to have knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical industry
Live within Sweden and are able to travel
Work location: Silverdal, Stockholm, Remote working possible
