About the role
Stena Group IT Operation Center is a closely weld together group of experienced infrastructure people with a primary responsibility to resolve 3rd level incidents in the core services together with the Service Desk team. Operation Center handles events and alarms as well as working with high attention on infrastructural tasks escalated from Service Desk. The team works as one to resolve incidents although with a technical responsibility within a specific core service divided into Server & Hosting, Network, Workplace & Productivity or Hardware Technician.
In this role you will be able to travel (but it’s not mandatory) and with the right mindset take on responsibilities outside of your day to day activities as well as evolve within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to minimize interruptions to the delivered services
- Business support of Core Infrastructural services
- Handle incoming support requests and incidents escalated in our ITSM tool
- Keep yourself and the rest of the team informed about the new or changed services delivered from your Core Service team
About you
To be the perfect match for this role, you have most likely been working with 3rd level support within a large or mid-size corporation for at least 3 years. You have a very good understanding of IT architecture and infrastructure. You enjoy resolving incidents and keeping the light on for a large company with high demands on availability and capacity. You are confident but humble and a true team player.
Your technical skills and competencies depends on your specialty within the Core Services, however you need very good Active Directory-, Powershell-, Server- and Network skills in all roles within the team.
