In Uppsala, we manufacture Healon, a market-leading product used to stabilize the eye in connection with eye surgery. Upon its launch in 1980, Healon paved the way for safe and quick eye surgery, whereby a patient’s cataracts can be replaced with new lenses in just a few minutes.

Operation Excellence Lead, Johnson & Johnson Vision Uppsala
In this role you will become a key person and experience true impact on the Site organization by driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and Johnson & Johnson Production System tools. The Site JJOS Lead is an important member of the JJSV | AMO Uppsala AB Site Leadership Team.
The scope includes the JJOS program, as well as any continuous improvement programs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability, Agility, Waste and Cost, favorably influencing the Site Supply Chain results.
Objectives
lead and/or support in planning and deployment of JJOS Phases
identifying and performing activities and projects that enable a long-term increase of productivity by application of Lean / Six Sigma methodology and effective change management
conducting of training of staff in Operational Excellence and Change Management methodology and associated expert areas.
Lead the problem-solving team and facilitate problem solving exercises and ensure the use of the right tools in these activities.
Be mentor, guide and work dynamically with Stakeholders, Project Leaders, Activity Managers and Other Employees in Operational Excellence and Change Management Questions
Provides a mix of hands-on leadership to support day-to-day activities, while also utilizing a strategic mindset to ensure mid- /long term success.
What You Will Need To Succeed
To be successful in this role we believe you have ·Excellent leadership skills, self-starting/-motivated with highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving, and the ability to develop win/win collaborations with other teams and organizations
Organized, analytical approach with a track record of optimizing flow, cost management, and process optimization
High accuracy and an attention to detail in combination with a strategic mindset
Excellent written and oral communication skills, experience in presenting complex data to all levels of the organization
Qualifications
University degree with technical, scientific, pharmaceutical/medical device background, or equivalent.
This positon also requires a very good ability to express yourself clearly and professionally in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
At least 3 to 5 years’ work experience from within Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations.
Project Management experience and worked within a project driven organization
