Are you the ambitious team player with a Yes we can-attitude we’ve been looking for? As an Operational Buyer, you will have one of the most important roles in our day-to-day delivery where you will execute operational purchasing to support our Fleet Operations. You will be working in close collaboration with your colleagues to support the organization where needed and be a part of implementing strategic sourcing projects in the organization.

Another part of your daily work will be to implement contracts, new processes and promote operational efficiency. You will participate in and develop standardized P2P processes. In this role, you will spend considerable time working in our procurement system AMOS.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Perform procurement according to defined strategies and frameworks
- Negotiate terms & conditions and place orders
- System administration of our procurement system AMOS
- Work in close collaboration with your Procurement team members, as well as end users, to ensure local acceptance and implementation of sourcing strategy. Actively participate in the implementation of new contracts
- Participate as required in global and regional strategic sourcing projects
- Track key performance indicators on supplier and internal stakeholder contract compliance; define and take corrective actions to improve contract compliance.
- Support the implementation of new consumption policies
- Drive procurement initiatives

You will become a part of our Procurement team, consisting of eight colleagues and a manager, who handles all procurement for the Stena Line Group. We work together to create value for the company in close collaboration with key stakeholders in our different regions. Now we’re looking for a new colleague to join our team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
- A few years of experience in procurement, in at least a middle-sized organisation
- Experience in sourcing and working with external suppliers
- Great computer and system skills
- Great analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
