Do you want to be an important player in the material flow for the state of the art manufacture of our high-voltage cable systems that make a difference in the green transition?

NKT is in an expanding phase and as an Operative / Tactical buyer there is a unique opportunity to start an exciting career. In your role, you will work independently as well as in groups. Our backbone and MRP system is SAP, this will also be your main daily tool.
NKT High Voltage cables in Karlskrona is now growing heavily, where the material flow will increase enormously in the coming years.

Your main duties as an Operational Buyer will involve:

* Perform operational purchasing work with a focus on turnaround times and delivery precision of production materials or indirect material and services
* Understand the needs, plan and execute the purchases, follow up on deliveries
* Drive deviations both internally and externally related to your materials
* Follow up hedges on materials and currencies for your area of responsibility
* Responsible for ensuring that our ERP system is updated with accurate data relevant for purchasing
* Actively participate in the daily improvement work
* Daily communication with planning, logistics, production and other relevant stakeholders
* Support the Procurement Manager and Category Managers with relevant purchasing data for input to future strategies, KPIs and activities.

To succeed in the role, it is required that you are communicative, have a good ability to work in groups and are good at building relationships, and thrive with a large network of contacts. You have an interest in actively participating in projects in an international environment. We see that you are results-oriented with an analytical and structured approach.

This is a job for you who are independent, enterprising and enjoy having many different contact areas. Communicating in writing and verbally in English is natural for you as we have colleagues and suppliers from all over the world. Business trips occur, mainly in Europe.

Your CV also includes:

* University degree in purchasing or economics and/or 1-3 years of experience in operational purchasing work
* It is an advantage if you have previously worked in SAP MM or similar MRP systems
* Knowledge about SAP Ariba is a merit
* Good knowledge of MS office, with emphasis on Excel
* Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
