About the department
Indirect Sourcing Business team is supporting Husqvarna Group globally in the areas of Temporary Labor, Travel, Professional Services and Sales & Marketing. The team of 7 people is based in Sweden and consists of Operational Buyers, Commodity Managers and a Team Manager.
We are now looking for an Operational Buyer supporting the areas of Temporary Labor (mainly white collar consultants) and Travel. The Operational Buyer role is responsible for providing best-in-class procurement support to Husqvarna Group stakeholders driving diverse procurement initiatives, supporting digitalization and process automation and contributing to the cost targets and objectives.
Indirect Sourcing is recognized for its stakeholder centric way of working, agility and ability to continuously add value to the Husqvarna Group. As an Operational Buyer you will work hand in hand with the Commodity Managers and your Stakeholders in order to ensure the execution of the operational tasks, new initiatives as well as drive savings initiatives and deliver added value.
About the position
As an operational buyer you excel at executing tasks in line with our sourcing policy and strategy, all while delivering top-notch projects and services. With a keen eye for quality, you diligently oversee the supplier base within your designated category. Your negotiation skills come into play across various locations, leveraging the power of the Coupa tool.
Your commitment to maximizing results and adhering to current agreements shines through as you prioritize the utilization of preferred supplier contracts. By doing so, you ensure optimal outcomes and maintain compliance with our contractual obligations.
Collaboration is key in your role, and you forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders as well as operational buyers and commodity managers in Indirect sourcing. Together, you work in close alignment to implement and deploy impactful programs and initiatives, driving continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Examples of additional working tasks:
Provide and create content for Coupa users (forms and Catalogs)
Identify and execute saving initiatives and execute RFQ´s directly in Coupa.
Identify opportunities for negotiations based on company, suppliers and market data.
Align with requester on missing specification and clarify user requirements relating to How We buy guideline.
Actively exchange best practice in the buyer’s team and identify and execute improvement actions

About you
We are looking for a person with University-/BA-/BS-College degree preferably in Business/ Economics (or equivalent work experience) and at least 2 years of experience of supporting internal and/or external stakeholders.
Other requirements:
Experience in supporting multi-functional projects in an international work environment, including remote locations
Pronounced negotiation skills
Fluent in Swedish and English
Computer skills (previous experiences in using ERP’s, Microsoft package)
Experience with indirect services (e.g. Temp Labor, Travel, IT), either on buying or selling side of the business

Location: Huskvarna, with the option to work in a hybrid model.
