Our Procurement team consists of nine colleagues and a manager, handling all procurement for the Stena Line Group. We work together to create value for the company in close collaboration with key stakeholders in the different regions. Now we’re looking for a new colleague to join our team.
What will you do?
As Operational Buyer you will have one of the most important roles in our day-to-day delivery. It will be your responsibility to execute operational purchasing to support stakeholders. You will also be part of strategic sourcing projects and support the implementation in the organisation. You will work closely with your colleagues and support the organisation where needed. Implementation of contracts, agreements, new processes and promotion of operational efficiency will be part of your daily work. You will also participate in and develop standardised P2P processes. As part of this role there is also a responsibility over our procurement system Palette Buyer where you will be the system administrator and drive improvement initiatives of the system.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Perform procurement according to defined strategies and frameworks
• Participate as required in global and regional strategic sourcing projects
• Work in close collaboration with Procurement team members, as well as end users, to ensure local acceptance and implementation of sourcing strategy. Actively participate in the implementation of new contract
• Track key performance indicators on supplier and internal stakeholder contract compliance; define and take corrective actions to improve contracts compliance.
• Support the implementation of new consumption policies
• Collect and analyze information on performance and contract compliance and report to management
• Drive procurement initiatives
• System administration of our procurement system Palette Buyer

The must-haves:
• Sc in Engineering, Business or Finance
• A few years of experience from procurement in at least a middle size organisation
• Experience in sourcing and working with external suppliers
• Great computer and system skills, a fast learner
• Very analytical and structured
• Flexible mind-set and open to change
• Great communication skills in both English and Swedish, written and spoken
