Every year millions of EUR of personal accident insurance compensation go unclaimed in Europe! Why so? One of the main reasons is that it is extremely difficult to go through the insurance claiming process, which requires both time, knowledge and a lot of patience.
With Insurello, there is no need to understand insurance-specific language, be equipped with plenty of time, or have a specific background. We want to help all people claim their accident insurance compensation instantly online and change the insurance landscape for the better. Our vision is to rebalance the power between customers and the insurance companies, enabling fair compensation for all.
Insurello is growing at a rapid pace, and now we are looking for an ambitious and organised Operational Country Manager to help us to set up and manage Insurello in France. So, Maria (Talent Acquisition Specialist) and I, Lukas (Strategy Manager), look forward to getting to know how Insurello could be a match to your interests and experience!
The role:
This is a unique opportunity and the very first role we are opening in France! Our Expansion team in Sweden consists of 8 amazing individuals who will provide support and mentorship throughout your journey, as well as we have experience of establishing a new office in Denmark. Nevertheless, your own proactive ideas, the expertise of the French market, and operational experience will be crucial for the success of Insurello in France.
To succeed and thrive in your role,
it is determining that you are:
- hands-on self-starter and entrepreneurially minded
- very strong in optimising the processes and identifying the patterns
- have leadership experience not from knowing the theories but from leading teams. Moreover, you have the ability not only operate in but shape a fast-growing environment where the sky is the limit, and the level of uncertainty is high
- excited to work in and build a high-paced start-up with a higher purpose.
Also, your background and capabilities are at least:
- 2-3 years of similar experience in a highly demanding role (such as a VC-funded start-up in a growth stage, strategy consulting, investment bank, B2C digital service company or building a customer service organisation)
- full proficiency in French and English
- thinking globally acting locally.
Does it sound like you? 🤩 Here is a little more about exciting responsibilities that are part of the role:
- Building the customer service organisation in France basically from scratch, recruiting, forming, and leading operational teams
- Building all customer service processes and systems
- Have a key responsibility for Insurello's customer service team performance in France (i.e. decreasing average claim handling time, NPS etc.) Together with our product team in HQ, optimising conversion rates and quality of of the results
- Provide insights to the HQ team for building and optimising the French product and marketing activities
- Ensuring good relationships with French insurance companies and authorities.
