Job description
Alfen is seeking for a skilled Operational Electrical Safety Leader, a role where you will work both as Field Service Technician and Electrical Safety Leader (Elsäkerhetsledare), to ensure the optimal performance and safety of our systems as we establish ourselves in Sweden. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by executing annual maintenance plans, diagnosing and repairing systems, and upholding our high standards for quality and safety.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations and procedures related to electrical risks.

Responsibilities:
• Execute Alfen’s annual maintenance plans, prioritizing system health and safety
• Analyze, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs on Alfen’s customer systems
• Replace and install components to ensure system functionality
• Assess the impact of field procedures on customer operations
• Collect and document relevant data for diagnostics and repairs
• Collaborate with Alfen’s Support Engineers to quickly resolve system malfunctions
• Ensure Alfen meets its contractual obligations by optimizing system uptime and adhering to deadlines
• Drive customer satisfaction by providing world-class support
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance Alfen’s processes, products, or services.

As part of a growing company that is expanding its operations into Sweden, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of our journey from the start, contributing to the development of our presence and supporting our customers as we establish ourselves in the market. To establish the company at the Swedish market, we will start by recruiting this role. Over time, you will be involved in building the team, including the recruitment of additional Field Service Technicians.

In this role, you will start by working from home and visiting customers to perform a variety of service tasks and other responsibilities. This will involve considerable travel, primarily within Sweden, and occasionally outside of the country as needed. A company car will be provided for this position.

Location for the position is Jönköping, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Kalmar or Karlstad.

Your profile
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have experience working as a Field Service Technician and B2B environment, along with leadership experience in electrical safety.

The role also requires the following qualifications:
• Education from a vocational training program (YH) in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent Bachelor's degree in Electronics.
• Familiarity with the knowledge and skills outlined in Annexes 1 and 2 of the National Electrical Safety Board's regulations (ELSÄK-FS 2017:4).
• Experience or knowledge of Power Electronics
• Proficiency in both English and Swedish, booth in speech and writing
• Willingness to work shifts, including on-call duties, weekends, and evenings
• A valid driver's license (B)
• Highly flexible and self-organized
