Operational Excellence and IT manager

Your Role
As an Operational Excellence and IT manager for Strip Division you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and overseeing the overall use of Information technologies at our division. Our IT infrastructure are mainly managed by our internal IT suppliers. You ensure that the technological level and IT support is up to date and able to support the business development within the division, all in a cost-effective and quality-assured manner. As a member of the Alleima IT management team you also are part of driving the IT strategic agendas within Alleima.

We trust that you in this role will:


- Be responsible for the quality processes and routines within the IT area and ensuring that they harmonize with Alleima strategy.
- Together with Alleima EA define the enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and governance to align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage IT costs including budget and results within the division.
- Take lead and set the strategic agenda within the IT area and further follow up that the execution of strategy takes place according to plan.
- Take the initiative regarding business development, implementing our new ERP-system M3 and develop the overall IT Governance within the division.


Location for this position is flexible with continuously presence in Sandviken as a requirement.



About You
We believe you have a solid IT background, where you have experience of driving strategic agendas, business development and project leading. You have knowledge of IT architecture, and you ensure to follow the technical development and current trends within the IT area. Your foundation is a university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. As we work in an international environment, English is a requirement.


Your personality truly makes the difference, you are a people leader with good business acumen and a commercial mindset. You make decisions both from a detailed and a holistic point of view. We also value your great collaboration skills, your ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization. With your inspiring approach you easily make people follow your footsteps and further pave the way for the IT organization within Strip Division.
