We are currently looking for junior and senior Operational Excellence Consultants to help build our Transformation Office and processes in our transformation journey. You will be part of shaping the future of Telia Company in Sweden in a team that sits within the Sweden CFO organisation.
Your next challenge?
As a Transformation Consultant and Operational Excellence Expert, you translate process, lean knowledge, and analysis of our customer journeys into delivery of business opportunities that add value and reduce waste for our customers. Reporting to the Global Head of Process Excellence, you are responsible for supporting the deployment and implementation of process excellence principles within all aspects of the Telia Company. This is a key role with the accountability to ensure our transformation is delivered.
In your day-to-day job you apply and coach on process excellence through lean principles and tools to support delivery of the transformation plans of the internal TC teams to deliver tangible business benefit across multiple brands. You lead end-to-end process analysis, working with different tools, help process owners to identify and remove waste, reduce costs and improve the overall customer experience.
Is this you?
You provide outstanding analytical, coaching, project management, and technical leadership to functional teams in support of our transformation journey. Skilled in change leadership, you have significant hands-on experience of lean principles, processes, tools, behaviors, and leadership as well as a comprehensive understanding of how process excellence and lean principles, systems and tools are applied to reduce business complexity as well as deep functional experience in one or more areas. You have the inquisitiveness to continually ask “why” across all aspects of our most important customer journeys.
You are confident to coach and train senior leaders within Telia Company. You have a demonstrated history of being able to set a clear strategic direction and influence at senior levels and support practical delivery of the plan at a team level.
Your skills and experience
· Educated to MSc level in Economics, Engineering, or related technical/business discipline.
· A track record of delivering business impact and sustained change through Lean/Six Sigma projects and programs with deep expertise in process, project and change management. You are comfortable diagnosing issues as well as working closely with the organisation to implement recommendations
· Experience of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and building key networks across functions and regions.
· Interacting with all levels of the business (shop floor to senior leader) & understanding of multi-site and multi-organization challenges and how Lean principles support & drive continuous improvement.
· Experience of Business Process Management and Improvement programs, including process mapping, gaining insights from fragmented data, the identification and elimination of waste, use of standards and standard work and defining and measuring process effectiveness to ensure delivery of business objectives.
· Ability to balance the bigger picture issues and challenge long held beliefs with willingness to dive into the detail of operational and financial data.
As a plus
· Experience from Management Consulting where you have learned problem solving and structuring, root cause analysis and facilitation skills.
· Six Sigma (or Lean Six Sigma) Black Belt certification and/or certification from an accredited external Quality program.
