What will you do?
In general

The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for driving the continuous improvement of core business processes in the Commercial Division.
The role will drive a reduction in operational complexity & the building of cross-functional alignment in these processes. This role will lead through example with a heavy engagement in reducing operational complexity.

Leading & managing the consolidated roadmap of business process improvements to drive operational excellence within the Commercial Division area:

Actively work as a partner with business process owners in the Commercial Division on cross functional process improvements to stabilise, simplify & and reduce complexity in key processes

Promote Operational Excellence across the Commercial Division functions and support relevant functions in ensuring that process improvement initiatives are implemented and adequately resourced, funded and prioritised and aligned in the Operational Excellence roadmap.

Act as a speaking partner for business process owners on the required systems and tools improvements to support process improvement

Govern core business process maps & ensure functional ownership & accountability is in place

Develop & provide training platforms for our core business processes in partnership with business process owners

Provide governance on Product Variants in the organisation & act in a central role for all non standard variant topics/requests

Operational Excellence – Project Management

Managing assigned cross-functional non-NPD projects when required

Your background and your qualifications

High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project or alternative project management software
Experience in Operational Excellence/Process Improvement role in a global organisation, preferably within FMCG industry/sector
3rd level technical (or similar/relevant) qualification
English fluent, knowledge of other languages is appreciated
