Galderma in Uppsala is on a growth journey and we are building a team within Operational Excellence. Do you want to be part of building a continuous improvement culture at Galderma in Uppsala? Do you have solid experience from working with lean tools, process optimization, or improvement activities? Then this role might be something for you!
You will be part of a team of four-five people, reporting to the Manager Operational Excellence. Together, the team is responsible for identifying, leading and facilitating Operational Excellence initiatives across the Uppsala site of Galderma.
Responsibilities
As Operational Excellence Manager you will promote a continuous improvement culture in line with Galderma's commitments and business plan. You will work with continuous improvement activities within M&TO (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Plant Engineering, Quality and Purchasing) at the Uppsala site. Work tasks may include:

Preparing Value Stream Maps of current processes with identified improvement opportunities

Implementing productivity improvements where applicable
*
Establishing KPIs to ensure progress is made towards identified improvements
*
End-to-end responsibility of project phases linked to continuous improvement (requirements analysis, design of detailed plans and implementation, monitoring and reporting and responsible for the achievement of selected priorities)

Providing training and coaching to all levels and functions on the use of relevant tools to implement improvements
Requirements
You have experience of working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in various functions. Furthermore, you have solid experience in working with culture and change management, continuous improvement, and/or lean tools and practices in a fast-paced environment. Six sigma black belt certificate is meriting.
You are used to developing process controls and quality standards and have strong business acumen with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs. To be successful in this role, we believe that you are analytical, have strong problem-solving capabilities, and enjoy working with a change management culture.
To be able to provide training and coaching in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement across the site, good oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish is a requirement.
