Main responsibilities
The Operational Excellence Team Lead is responsible for and leads the deployment and execution of the Operational Excellence activities within ISC Operations and Supply Chain Management with a key focus on our manufacturing sites. The position supports and coaches Operational Excellence Managers, site teams and in some cases other functional teams in improving their performance.

As an Operational Excellence Team Lead your main tasks are:
Lead, coach and develop a team of Operational Excellence Managers who are supporting operations and sites, leading improvement projects and operational excellence execution.
Follow up and coach sites on performance in key areas.
To be part of the regional OPEX management team and as such co-responsible for setting strategy and direction of the regional Operational Excellence activities and delivery of the regional targets.
Work closely together with Regional Manufacturing Directors and Site Leadership teams to align on OpEx prioritization for the region and within the sites.
Running improvement projects, trains and guides on the Nouryon standard processes


This function requires significant traveling up to 50%, mostly within the EMEA region

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s degree preferred. Degrees related to technical, supply chain, engineering or related fields are most appropriate
Proven continuous improvement, Lean experience and/or certified L6S Continuous Improvement Master. Or equivalent experience to a L6S Master Black Belt
Extensive knowledge and expert use in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
Proven leadership skills and the capability to work effectively in international teams
Skilled and experienced in managing change programs
Extensive experience in training and coaching; able to impart knowledge to others
Experienced project manager
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
