Operational Lead, Rarity Bioscience

Operational Lead, Rarity Bioscience

Arbetsbeskrivning

Join us and feel the joy of creating and developing processes ‘from scratch’, rather than maintaining structures that have been in place for decades. We are aiming at radically improving cancer diagnostic and are now setting up inhouse production of assay kits. We need you as our Operational Lead.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for;

• Setting up and maintaining methods and processes for manufacturing and quality control of in vitro diagnostics and research use only assay kits. The work will be performed both on a strategic level as well as hands on.
• Coordinating and developing the daily operations of the in-house testing. Work will be performed in collaboration with colleagues in the lab.

You will be part of the core team contributing to our success by making our liquid biopsy and mutation detection technology available to clinicians and researchers. We are developing in a fast paste and your work tasks can therefore change over time and will include everything from hands-on manufacturing, training of staff, production planning including purchasing, process validation and quality control. At Rarity, no challenge is too big and no task is too small.

Your profile

We are looking for a driven person who independently can both lead and perform operational tasks, and who understands the process of assay production in small scale. You probably love finding lean process improvement and ways making the daily work smooth. We hope you have experience from a similar product journey and are eager to be part of a fast and dynamic team with high ambitions.

Most likely you have a university degree in biology, chemistry, pharma or other relevant education. You have proven work experience from operations, including production and process validation. You have previously worked in regulated industry, beneficial if you bring experience of IVD classified products managed in accordance with ISO 13485. You have leadership ability and have some experience from, or interest in, budgeting and forecasting. Experience from accredited clinical test lab is an advantage.

What we offer

We are a young and fast-growing company with an agile cross functional work environment. We have a performance oriented culture and promise you dedicated colleagues, a lot of responsibility and the possibility to make a difference in a pioneering environment.

Our culture is open, respectful, prestige-less, and diverse. Our journey has just started, and we want you to grow with Rarity - join us!
