As an Operational Risk Officer, you will work in our global Risk Control function within the full spectrum of different operational risk processes, tools and methods. Let’s make a difference in finance for the many people
You will be part of the global Risk Control team, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO). In the role you shall contribute as second line officer and support and secure the implementation of the Operational Risk Management framework, including Incident Management, New Product Approval Process, Business Continuity Management, Operational Risk Self Assessments, Internal Controls and Key Risk Indicators in all the countries where Ikano Bank operates. As well, you will take part in leading the development and improvements of our different operational risk management methods and processes.
Communication skills are vital as you will play a key role in strengthening the operational risk culture by providing training, support, and advice across the Bank.

Are you the one for Ikano?
The ideal candidate for this role has 2-5 years of experience from operational risk related work at a bank or another financial services company or consultancy firm and holds a relevant university degree. Experience from internal or external audit work of banks or other financial companies with focus on processes and operations can also be a relevant background.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust are vital to build a strong cooperation with stakeholders around the bank. You are fluent in verbal and written English.
As a person you are curious, open minded, eager to learn and generous in sharing your expertise. You like working in a fast-paced environment, are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, have ability to work across all levels within the organization, acts with integrity and provide constructive challenge to risk owners.
The position is placed at our Malmö office, but alternative locations can be discussed with the right candidate.
