As an Operations Analyst you will be the spider in the web, working with functions and tasks that are not our core business. Yes, you need to be analytical in the sense that you understand ways of working. But you also need to be a generalist and be able to work with lots of different areas. In Real Estate a lot have changed the years and it will continue to change. We are not just building our IKEA stores, but also city centres, re-building shopping centres etc. You need to be experienced working with change and how to handle stakeholders.


In this position you need knowledge of how to profile, model, analyze and report on all data, cross channel, to gain insights for business purposes and decision making. You understand KPI´s and how they are used for success measures and are also a good planner when it comes to manage costs and expenditures. We would also like you to understand how to develop and maintain IT solution to be used for project management and FM operations. You have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Applications and can communicate confidently and clearly in English.


To succeed as an Operations Analyst, you need:


• 1-3 years’ experience of Business navigation; Project Management
• University degree in engineering, finance, business or equivalent

The purpose of the Operations Analyst is to support the Ingka Real Estate cluster organization towards optimal business performance. You will identify business improvement potential, sharing best practice and sharing performance analysis. You will be a proactive business partner to the Real Estate cluster organization in strategic as well as operational development, closely connected to the business and contributing to a better performance of the business and ultimately to the customer experience.


Cluster Europe North is defined by the countries Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. Today, the Facility Management team has the biggest need for support, and you will as an Operations Analyst work more closely to their team.


Amongst many tasks you will:


• Develop local procedures based on global routines, Standard Operating Procedures and Ways of Working and promote lean, simple and effective ways of working as well as describing, aligning and harmonizing processes and working methods connected to the Real Estate scope.
• Provide business owners with accurate budgets for Real Estate investment projects, reinvestment projects and Facility Management scope.
• Provide cost analysis in order to keep to budget and steer and improve the business.


This position is in Malmö and will report to Real Estate Cluster – Europe North.
