Operations Consultant McDonald's in the Nordics (Food Folk)

McDonald’s in the Nordics (Food Folk) is currently looking for a candidate to fill an open position as Operations Consultant. The position is full time and can be based in one of our four offices in either Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo or Stockholm.
In this role you will be a part of the Nordic department, Restaurant Solutions Group (RSG). In RSG, we support strategic initiatives by developing, testing, and providing the right operational solutions for Food Folk to run great restaurants in each market (Denmark, Finland, Norway & Sweden).
RSG consists of 3 functional areas and you will be a part of the Operations team consisting of 12 people based across the Nordics. You will report to the Head of RSG Operations.
The role:
Our new Operations Consultant will work with the operational aspects of new strategic cross-functional projects and initiatives across the Nordics. New projects and initiatives that needs to be developed to fit into the already existing way of operating a McDonald’s restaurant. In addition, you will proactively seek opportunities for optimization across the region to improve restaurant operations and increase Sales & Guest Counts.
You will be responsible for scoping, planning, and developing projects on a Nordic level. The projects will either be implemented by yourself or through a local team of operational experts. This also means that the role has a close corporation with the rest of the organization.
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project lead and/or participant, representing operations and RSG in Nordic strategic cross-functional projects
Maintaining project plans and ensuring that deadlines are met
Participating as an operational project member on various projects
Participating in meetings to make sure that local needs and requirements are kept in mind
Developing and supporting the markets across the Nordics with operational materials, guidelines etc.
Sub Matter Expert on various restaurant solutions, projects, business areas and operational tasks to be able to support local markets
Working as a sparring partner and assisting the team and Head of RSG Operations in various projects and daily tasks

You can have various backgrounds to apply for this position. The ideal candidate has:
Operational McDonald’s experience
Project Management experience
Fluency in written and spoken English (knowledge of another Nordic language is an advantage).
