Operations Coordinator

Central Asia Solidarity Groups (CAG) is a non-profit organization based in Malmö. We work mainly in post-Soviet Central Asia in thematic areas such as human rights, youth issues, gender / LGBTQ and culture, in close cooperation with Central Asian grassroots organizations and activists. We also have ongoing projects in Sweden. Now we are looking for Operations Coordinator to manage project activities and ensure that long-term strategic vision is considered on day-to-day basis.


Responsibilities:


-Handle day-to-day employee/matters; and coordinating needs at the office.
-Have an overview of al projects in CAG and how they fit to long-term planning.
-Have a close and regular communication with the board to keep them informed and updated on developments in the organisation.
-Coordinate and have the utmost responsibility for timeliness and quality of monitoring, evaluation and reports.
-Coordinate and make sure of the quality of project planning, design and applications.
-Keep up to date with funding and resource needs of the organisation, operationalise strategies from/ in collaboration with the board.
-Responsible for coordination of new partnerships and developing existing.
-Other responsibilities as required.


Requirements:


-University degree (social science, development studies or other relevant studies)
-At least three years of work in civil society sector
-Relevant expertise in the region of Central Asia
-Previous experience of working with project design and/or application writing
-Experience in starting up and / or running projects within the service's thematic and / or geographical areas
-Knowledge of Swedish, English, Russian languages
