Operations Engineer

Floatel International AB is a Swedish company in the offshore oil and gas industry. We manage four accommodation vessels working all over the world, and one new building at Keppel FELS shipyard in Singapore.

We are looking to employ two Operations Engineer to our headquarters in Gothenburg, one permanent employee and one temporary, who is interested to work in an international and challenging environment. The person we are looking for must be used to working in a changeable environment.

The position as Operations Engineer is located in the Operations Section and you will be reporting to the SVP Operations. As Operations Engineer at Floatel you will work with several Rig teams with operations of offshore accommodation platforms.

This is a fleet wide position meaning that you will work with more than one vessel in operation and participate in fleet wide projects. In your service includes trips, about once a month.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Rig Managers in day to day operation
- Support Rig Managers in there planning with upcoming projects
- Review and update project procedures
- Ensure exchange of experience between operations projects
- Responsible for reports and fleet letters
- Responsible for document control
- Responsible for assigned fleet wide projects and business cases

Education / Training
BSc / MSc or equivalent degree in engineering, industrial engineering, economics or equivalent.

Experience
We believe that you are newly graduated or maybe have a few years in similar position as project engineer/project or similar assistant it is meritorious.
Experience with processing in Word, Excel, MS Project and Power Point

Able to interact and communicate well with all level of management and personnel in both Swedish and English.
