Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Operations and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 15 intense and exciting months, our Operations Graduate Program will give you a holistic view of our operational and logistic activities, including both the local and global perspective. You will be working with the technologies of tomorrow, building the products of the future – electric, connected, and automated. In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions.
You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several local and international on the job-rotations and work on business-critical projects developing your competencies for tomorrow. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. In addition, you will gather with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group. We offer the opportunity for you to be part of our digital transformation, applying modern technologies to connect and automate our processes. Together we work with AI (Artificial Intelligence), data science, machine learning, circular systems, virtual manufacturing and more, to build our full electric or autonomous products.

Job Description:
Our team are the forefront in deploying the future for our new product production of battery cell by e.g., driving and research engineering projects. We are looking for a team member, that together with us, will lead the development of manufacturing methods in the battery cell field. You should be a true believer in sustainability and passionate about the journey towards fossil free drivetrain!

The ideal candidate for this role is a proficient problem solver dedicated to driving development through innovative solutions. They are a curious and engaged engineer, enthusiastic about seizing new opportunities. Operating without pretence, they rely on facts to approach situations from multiple angles, pinpointing root causes. Required knowledge/experience
A MSc in Battery technology and ESS or Automation, Production Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English.
Valid work permit
Knowledge from Battery development or production is desirable
