In addition, you will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. We furthermore offer the opportunity for you to be part of our digital transformation, applying new technologies to connect and automate our processes. Together we work with AI, data science, machine learning, circular systems, virtual manufacturing and more, to build our fully electric or autonomous products.

Required knowledge/experience 
Formal education: B.Sc. or M.Sc in relevant field.


It is meritorious if you have:
Experience from working with manufacturing/production
Previous work experience with Data analysis
Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power-BI)
Knowledge from one or several; SQL, Python, Scala, Java or C++
Experience using Azure
It is required that you can speak, read and write both Swedish and English
You have maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation and a work permit for Sweden

Job Description:


You will help guide us through the digital transformation into Industry 4.0. Partly working by data visualization and data management. You will be a vital piece in the puzzle to handle the shifting trends in research and development demands where customer problems are focus and speed is key. We fail fast and early and we dare to take risks. The area of responsibility is our work with predictive and prescriptive analysis. What will happen and what do we need to do? Given the opportunities of big data and IIoT -industrial internet of things and AI, what needs to be done in order for us to stay relevant as world-class producers in the future?


Who are you?


This role will be essential for the future growth of Digitalization & IT in Umeå. It is therefore crucial that you have the ability to develop a business understanding and see what critical actions is needed. This is a new role within our organization in Umeå, therefore you will have a great chance to impact the future of our factory within your field as well as the work content of your role. It is important that you have the capacity to “connect the dots” and that you are able to identify what needs to be done and make priorities for you and your team. You must have a solid customer focus and that you have a service-oriented approach. You will be instrumental in the process of translating data into business insights and this requires a high level of analytical skills. Other qualities that we value are a structured way of working, collaboration, a quality mindset, communicational skills as well as solid presentation skills.

We are looking to strengthen our Digitalization & IT organization with a Data Analyst. The organization’s purpose is to safeguard the more “traditional” IT deliveries as well as leading the way in the digitalization journey we have started. Digitalization & IT is quite new within Umeå plant, but with clear ambition to grow extensively in order to enable the plants ambitions in the digitalization scope. The Digitalization & IT team has strong collaborative relations with all functions all over the plant.


We are looking for an ambitious and creative new talent who is eager to take on challenges presented in the context of data analysis and other areas of big data management.
