Operations Graduate Program – Logistics Buyer

In addition, you will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. Required knowledge/experience
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English.
A BSc or MSc in Information Technology, Engineering, Logistics or Business Administration.
Excellent general IT knowledge and preferably programming skills or knowledge of programming and visualization tools, such as Power BI, Qlicksense, Python, Coupa etc
Job Description:
In the Logistics Buyer role you will be responsible for the logistics purchasing operations related to the Transport Material and Transport Products process and be the purchasing interface between Production Logistics and suppliers in the region. You will in the Logistics Buyer role:
• Ensure development and implementation of global sourcing strategies in the region
• Drive or support / participate in sourcing projects.
• Drive continuous improvements and develop new ways to digitalize them
• Drive and contribute in sustainability improvement initiatives
• Manage and continuously develop our suppliers, to improve the total efficiency with an end-to-end perspective.
Who are we looking for?
We need you who are eager to become the commercial supplier interface, to improve the total efficiency with an end-to-end perspective. You are challenging but fair in the supplier interface, having the capability of building the relationship that makes business partners want to excel in sustainability, quality, service, and cost efficiency. You have strong analytical skills and as we use advanced software for analysis we hope you are familiar with more advanced analysis or programming. Digitalization is something you find an interest in and you actively take part in the digitalization journey that we have entered in Logistics Purchasing. You are a skilled communicator, who manages stakeholders in a cross functional and multi-cultural environment with ease. You find energy in making a difference and have a positive “can do” attitude. You make people feel included.

In Logistics Purchasing EMEA, you will be part of a team of professional Logistics Buyers located at multiple sites within the European region. We are a truly diverse team, eager to continuously and together provide optimized logistics solutions for customer success and a sustainable future. Together with our suppliers, we use our logistics network to pilot and deploy the latest technologies, services and products. We have entered the digitalization journey where we automate our processes, utilizing automation tools to visualize improvement opportunities and enhance our decision-making quality. We work together as a team and share ideas and opinions in a transparent way to find solutions to the challenges we meet.
