Your main responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring connected systems such as sensors, PLCs, and control systems to optimize manufacturing processes using data-driven strategies. You will lead projects focused on connectivity, collaborating closely with IT to integrate and enhance connected systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining standards for industrial communication, ensuring secure and efficient data flow across various systems. Utilizing industrial communication protocols like Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, CoAP, and others to facilitate seamless communication between devices will also be primarly job responsibilities for this position.
A significant aspect of this role will be to Implement IIoT protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets, and AMQP to transmit data from industrial devices to cloud-based platforms. You will troubleshooting and resolving issues within industrial IoT systems, including diagnosing network problems and device failures. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place, including encryption, authentication, and access control, to protect industrial networks from potential threats. You will also educating and training colleagues on connected systems and cybersecurity best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.

Required knowledge/experience:
* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, specifically in fields such as Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial IT or Mechatronics.
* In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English and Swedish.
* PLC programming and problem-solving skills.
* Previous experience from manufacturing/production is meritorious.
