Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of production plants or distribution centers and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!

During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group’s global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations. You will be part of the transformation in our industry, working with new technologies and building the competencies for tomorrow.

In parallel, you will grow your interpersonal skills through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will have the opportunity for several “on-the-job” rotations and experience working on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in training and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

The fantastic job - what you will do with us!
As a production engineer in Tuve, you work in a team towards a selected area in the factory. The job requires good communication skills to establish relationships with recipients within the Tuve factory but also with our colleagues in other European factories. As a production engineer in Tuve, you are expected to provide our factory's input on issues related to technical parts, both for the product and for the process.
The main responsibility lies in preparing production for product and process changes both continuously and in the long term, we create conditions for the fitters, who build the trucks, by seeing and creating an understanding of their needs.
The exciting and fun thing about our job is that it can have such a big impact on the factory's production results in many ways, both in terms of ergonomics, production rate and quality.

Who are you?
You are a curious and engaged engineer who loves new opportunities. We think that you are a good problem solver with the goal of finding improvements and solutions to drive the factory forward. You like data analysis, electronics and if you cannot already write some lines of code – you will learn it! You are fun to work with and you would love to explore new Digitalization grounds within Production Engineering. You work without prestige, fact-based and it is easy to see situations from different perspectives and from that arrive at the root cause. You are motivated by constantly developing yourself and your environment. You enjoy having several tasks in progress at the same time where you can act quickly, and you also participate in long-term projects. It is important for you to deliver in a way that makes the recipient happy. You are good at communicating and like to build relationships with different types of people and see the benefits in teamwork, as well as you take your own initiatives and can work on your own when needed. You have a strong interest in production development and are interested in taking on upcoming challenges in the automotive industry.
Required knowledge/experience
A BSc or MSc in Automation / Robotics / Mechanical / Production – Engineering
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation.
As this is a truly global program, most of your meetings and emails will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English and Swedish
Valid work permit for the applied country if not a citizen.
You have a passion for developing people, operations and product and are a communicative team player that values the full diversity of the team.
