Our organization:
At Volvo Group Trucks Operations in Köping, gearboxes for trucks are processed and assembled. The plant in Köping is competitive on the world market and large investments have been made to increase the production capacity of axles, gears and synchronization parts. Volvo Group Trucks Operations is the Volvo Group's production organization for trucks, engines and gearboxes, with an international, world-class industrial environment. The facility in Köping is also the Transmission Center within Volvo Group Trucks Operations, Powertrain Production and development work is ongoing within the framework of the role as "Center of Excellence". Today, approximately 1,500 people work at the facilities in Köping.
This is us, your new team:
The department consists of 14 people with different technology focuses. A lot of work takes place in project form and our roles in projects can vary from project managers to experts.
Main activities and responsibilities:
The Engineering Technologies department works primarily to ensure active work in creating conditions for manufacturing tomorrow's transmissions. This is done by researching & developing new assembly and processing technologies with local and global employees within Volvo GTO.

Required knowledge/experience:
* M.sc or B.sc in relevant education.
* Maximum two years of previous full-time working experience, prior to or after graduation. Work during studies are not included.
In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English and Swedish.
