The Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program is an international fast-track career program with the aim of developing future experts in the field of engineering, IT, data science etc. If you are up for the challenge of driving innovation, gaining first-hand experience, and developing our future operations within a global organization, this is the graduate program for you! As a graduate, you will be an integral part of shaping Volvo Groups mobility solutions of the future.

In addition, you will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. We furthermore offer the opportunity for you to be part of our digital transformation, applying new technologies to connect and automate our processes. Together we work with AI, data science, machine learning, circular systems, virtual manufacturing and more, to build our fully electric or autonomous products.

Required knowledge/experience
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation
In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English
In Tuve factory we also see fluent Swedish as necessity, both speaking and writing
MSc in engineering
Great technical interest
Highly skilled in Excel is an advantage
Valid work permit for the applied country if not a citizen

As a smart maintenance and process developer, we see that you help us analyze our current situation and, together with our stakeholders, develop a future way of working.
We see that the plan should include Lean for maintenance, Smart maintenance, KPIs and a plan for implementation.
An important part is to develop the digitization work as we believe we can work smarter on maintenance.


Who are we looking for?


You are a curious and committed engineer who loves new opportunities. We think you are a good problem solver with the goal of finding improvements and solutions to drive the factory forward. You like data analysis, automation and if you know programming, we see it as a big plus. You are fun to work with and you like to explore new ways of working within the maintenance organization. You work without prestige, based on facts and it is easy to see situations from different perspectives. You are motivated by constantly developing yourself and your environment. You are good at communicating and like to build relationships with different types of people and see the benefits of teamwork, as well as take your own initiative and can work on your own if necessary.


Our organization:


Within Manufacturing engineering/maintenance in Tuve, you shape the future to be fossil-free, and work to reduce our electricity consumption. In maintenance we work with reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and preventive maintenance, we are also responsible for replacement investments where needed and responsible for data from our monitoring systems. A large part of today's engineering work is to participate in the factory's process projects and there secure spare parts supply, preventive maintenance and that our suppliers comply with our technical requirements to ensure high availability in our production processes.
