What kind of background are we looking for?
Well, if you have a past as an Operational Leader, it is interesting. But we would also like if you would come from Business Navigation or BNOM in the stores. It will help us if you have worked with planning and following up tools like PowerBI, CODA-Cognos, planning analytics, etc. Previous Ikea experience is an added advantage.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Operations Leader, you will support Real Estate in Ingka towards optimal operation and performance and identify business improvement with special focus on the financial planning, forecasting and follow up of both investments and operations in all Ingka real estate assets operated by Real estate (Ingka Retail and Ingka Centres). As a team we help to identify and share best practices, develop performance analysis, and develop guidelines and tools. We mentioned it before, and here it comes again – you need to be someone who thrives in the unknown. Your first assignment is to identify the team needs and design your own assignment and what does that mean in a global context. In many cases your first step will be to help the centers of expertise in Group Real Estate to define their needs.

Your assignment requires strong connection with different stakeholders working in Business Steering, Financial Controlling, and Digital as well as with the complete Real Estate organization out in the countries. You will define together with them how to optimize and customise all financial tools and structures connected with the Real Estate services in existing units.
As you can understand, there will be much more for you to do in this position, but this is what we start with. The Operations Leader is placed in Malmö, Sweden and you will report to the Controlling and Operations Manager.
